I would put this under petitions instead of server chat.

Uh...last I heard Archie was out of town on business. Meaning he'll be back. In the mean time, we do have other officers.

If Xed becomes the leader, I have a feeling I'll log in the next day to find my monk naked and on fire on an island somewhere in the the ocean of tears.

I don't think this would be ethical to remove a someone's guild leader status and give to another of a guild no matter their status.
The best solution would be to disband and create another guild if you speak of everyone in the guild's intention.

And you'll know how that zone got it's name.

The remaining officers of the guild, of which I am one , have talked and are trying to contact Archie ,.. as of right now theres really no need to transfer guild leader tag to anyone .
Though getting a guild invite takes some doing at times , recruitment is all thats really going on .
RIght now , we are all lvling and groups are forming on thier own , we have little to no organised guild activities , when this becomes an issue we will be sure to address it .
We honestly have things under control and plan to give Archie the time he needs to finish his business . If and when things get to the point where a guild leader is needed to make decisions or organise guild events beyond what we the officers feel we are able to do ourselves , we will at that time petition for a change of guild leadership .
For those who would like an invite , or have issues with the guild feel free to contact Glover ( or my other toon Kexon ) and I will do what I can to help you out or answer any questions you may have .

What's that supposed to mean ?
You aren't the first to bring up the issue with Archie . It has and is continuing to be discussed , its an internal issue , and I realise the difficulty of figuring who officers are , and where exactly to formallly , yet internally , deal with said problem .
So , realising we need this taken care of , I will be setting up a site on guildlaunch for us to use , The site will be listed in the guild MOTD, I would say this evening . Guildlaunch is fast and easy to set up , but I do have stuff to do today , so I probably wont get to it till later .
Here is a list of current officers, known to me : Glover , Salerno , and Envino

Guild leadership will remain with Archie unless I hear otherwise. There is no need to remove him from that position unless he comes on and says so.

for all we know, his wife made him quit.
Again we are making attempts to contact Archie , no we aren't going to wait forever for him to reply , however we are going to give him a reasonable amount of time .
Either way this is an internal issue , I will soon have a private forum for this issue to be discussed in . I will post it in the MOTD as soon as I am able to do so . Please be patient , all concerns will be addressed as soon as possible , we would just like it to be done on a private forum , and handled internally with all the willing members of our guild able to make comments in private amongst fellow guildies without the issue of outside influences .
