Login problems, version: Butcherblock

Hello! For some reason, I cannot log in my main or my alt, both of which are in the Butcherblock. I get to the character select screen, and the loading bar fills, but then it sits there until I close the game. I logged in another alt that was in West Freeport with no issue.

I ran my main over to BB last night to do a quick drop for my alt when the problem started. I logged out of my main and when i went to log into my alt, it sat at the loading screen, fully loaded, until i quit the game. It happened close to 10 times before I finally got my main character back into the game to find the items gone.

I understand that there's nothing to be done about the items, that the server ate them for sitting there for too long, lesson learned, but I'd really like to be able to play those two characters, considering the one is my main character.

This issue hasn't happened prior to last night into today, and as of today I can still log into my alt that's in Freeport. Someone was kind enough to port to BB and camp, log back in, and didn't have any problems

Any help would be IMMENSELY appreciated.

When you try logging in next time, after you crash do NOT log back in. Instead go into C:\%blahblah%\Everquest Directory\Logs and send me a pm with the contents of the "dbg.txt" file.

I'll see if I can figure it out for you. My first guess is you have a missing or corrupt file needed for that zone.

Petition and ask the GMs to move both characters to a different zone so you can at least log on.
