you would think after 12 years people would know the pros and cos to each solo class. druid or sham for sure as far as ez goes. necro, wiz, and even mage pretty good but this is classic and you gotta deal with research.

Shamans really aren't that great till 34'ish.

Bards are fastest to 50. Enchanters probably second, and then Necro Wizard Druid.

paladin is obvious answer. camp ghoulbane while lvling in guk 1- 15 (should not be a problem shin lord gives lots of xp at these lvls) then use powers of your holy blade to solo unrest and then lguk, and you will be 50 in no time!

gnome warrior high int helps you learn skills faster and develope the tools needed to exp. I have 3 50x gnome warriors on this server.

You'll need the ability to kill mobs, hp regen, mana regen and the finally to get where the XP is. Necros are good for this, but Wizard and Druid - especially druid - have lower travel time and huge flexibility for soloing. Druids have SoW and EB (good for Kedge). SoW is great in PvP.

when i said druid sham as easiest, i was considering all factors such as speed, safety, ect. Bard can definately be the fastest but the risk is great. Wizard is pretty damn fast, especially once you can quad. I mean most servers first 50 was a wizard including this one. however pure casters are squishy and research is gay. with priest classes you get easy solo ability, decent pace, and you can solo in alot of places using various tactics. not to mention the utility you get with priest classes. anyhow GL.

i played a mage once for the first time a year ago on blue, spent 3k to twink him a lil, and within 5 days, each day playing 6 hours, also had pots from my shm, but within a day and a half or so logged in the first week of this char, was lvl 20 easily, so i sold my stuff and deleted him, i dont like easy mode

Shamans until 29 are slow as balls... trust me, I am one.

Once you hit 29 you get an animal charm which helps you a LOT used in the right places. Do this till 34 and then you can root rot/dot your way to nice xp.

A cleric with good HP gear and a manastone is pure win. Remove the manastone, though, and it gets pretty tedious.
