Where to begin? So many of them.
1 - Casting bar randomly poofing for no reason.
2 - Bug with missed note after clicking BoH, this has been TRIED to be issued, but it was even worse. It's still in the state that if you miss a note after clicking your BoH the casting bar wont stop, it'll try to repeat itself with no success.
3 - A bard right click buff / debuff proc is suposed to stack with EVERYTHING. far from that here.

6 - Melodious Truncheon effect, not unresistable, not to any lvls, no mem blur.
7 - Playing a song with pulsed instrument to swap out to weapons still has instrument modifier until song is stopped.
8 - Bard epic missing the animations for all instrument types.
9 - Issue with using clickie items too fast back to back, doesn't do anything / casting bar appears.. Nevers go through.
10 - March of the wee not suposed to shrink you.
11 - Jonathans Inspiration has no singing animation.
12 - Missed Notes, Sitting at max dex max cha with buff / songs, still as many missed notes as when i was lvl 39. Often double back to back if not triple.
13 - Issue with using invis song, upon breaking it in a battle, you will get the ''you feel yourself starting to appear'' message 18 secs later even though it clearly is long gone and you've been meleeing. Same happens with travel song, if you click it off physically. You will still get the ''you feel yourself starting to appear'' message whenever the song would be closed to stopping normally.
14 - Denon's Bereavement stun lasting for 2 seconds where it's meant to be 0.5 seconds.
15 - Chord of Dissonance, Denon's Bereavement, Denon's Disruptive Dischord doing full damage (dot dmg) when the mob is moving (non feared / fleeing).
16 - Apparently, no one but the bard itself sees any type of singing / playing instruments animation.
17 - Song of Highsun needs a resist magic check, gate / shadowstep unresistable, stun resistable.. currently works like cancel magic and stuns all the time
18 - If you loot both a primary and secondary instrument on your corpse, you can equip both at same time... NEVER meant to happen, the only ''double'' instruments you can do is a primary slot instrument (sky horn / flute, vp lute) and epic in secondary... and seeing the modifier on epic doesnt work in secondary till luclin... it has a moot point to. Have seen many bards exploiting this feature to equip selos drums of the march secondary vp lute main to get 2 modifiers.

This bug is weird because they fixed it in pvp (so you can't mez someone infinitely long just by landing it once), so I'm not sure what's stopping them from fixing it in pve.
Another bug is denon's bereavement having a 2 second stun (when on Live it was about 0.1 seconds) and certain bard dots still doing full damage even while targets are mobilie (denon's bereavement and selo's chords of cessation I believe are affected by this, possibly other songs too).

The casting bar disappearing occurs when a weapon procs mid-song. This was how it was on live and probably is just a bug in the client.

wtf u talking about? didnt see it mentionned anywhere, so i never bothered re-trying, but i did just now... and charming a mob to send in a pack of other mobs so it gets beaten down IE swarm kiting, doesnt work still.
Uh... you're wrong. Try again. I tried it on raptors, seafuries, OT mobs, and spirocs and it worked just fine. You might need to run the pack straight over your charmed mob briefly for the swarm to get aggro but it works. Honestly our class works pretty well, most of the things that aren't classic seem really difficult to fix.

bard's right click / procs suposed to stack with E V E R Y T H I N G, doesnt.
casting bar randomly poofes for no goddamned reason.
I came here to see if the last issue had been addressed. It is very frustrating, because when the casting bar poofs, I react instinctively by hitting the key to restart the song and end up stopping it instead.
Also get a ton of missed notes, but I chalk it up to my low level (42) and dex (about 115). Some songs are far worse than others.
I played a bard for several years on live and do not remember these issues, but maybe I'm just forgetting.

How brutal is the technical fix on this? Seems like it could be quite an undertaking and is definitely classic. Turns "useless" tash orbs into sick dragon loots.
So let it be done.
Our best bards had 2 tash orbs, and they didnt take them off (or at least 1 when epic came out) on raid targets until they proc'd.

Almost a year is up within my original post, what has been changed?
TWO issues.
One which fucked things up even worsely (missed note after boh effect) and got changed back.
Fail reproduction of charm kiting.

Just want to confirm that the following issue:

... was still happening up until the last patch with Selos, but now appears fixed.

false... if i pulse selo with drums and equip wpns i still run as fast as long as i dont stop the song.
Same as if i pulse resists with a drum and switch to wpns, they will still have the percussion modifier.

Yes, I've been kiting and you are correct. It worked a few times, but usually doesn't. It worked for me twice immediately after the patch (i.e. the pulse slowed me down after swapping out the drum - I am absolutely certain of this hence my first posting), but has not worked since. It does however work with heal song (I just checked).

I just want to add to this.
My bard is using Mistmoore Battle Drums. Equipped it looks like a flute and I play it like a stringed instrument.

that's classic, bards didnt have a drum animation till velious or luclin, whichever made drums look like actual drums.

the non stacking is what kills me. that was always true pwer on raids, being able to stack different level of tash was only way to land slow on certain mobs

19. Selos and Sow should not stack.
To be clear, the movement portions aren't additive, but the buffs should be mutually exclusive. Currently you can allow selos to drop or get dispelled and still have SoW speed if you hid it in slot 15. That isn't classic.

Bards are tough to code with. Not many devs have worked with a lot of that code. And i have pretty much taken a 2 year break, and finished a masters and had 2 more kids added to my family.
I am working through bugs. Will get to Bard after I finish fd, snare, dot interactions. That code is abt 80% done. Then I am going to fix the Velious porting spells to require appropriate quest items. Then if nothing major comes up, will take a peek at what is going on with bards.
There. A dev has posted.

WOuld like to add my bug to the pile of them - Selo's Song of Travel drop whenever a new song without invis component is cast, so because most songs drop the invis component of Selo's song of Travel, one cannot simple twist Selo's and anything else without falling out of the sky.

Selo song of travel should drop, because it is also an invis song.
Use the Lvl 5 Selo if you want to twist something with speed

Selos song of travel IMO is pretty crappy.
I hate spells that they roll the speed and invis into one buff. Cause if you lose one layer of your "defense", the invis, you also lose the second layer, your fast runspeed.
Druids eventually got a group invis Cheetah AA that had the exact same issue. It was lame.

Ya selo's would overwrite root, at the very least with a drum for quite a while. Not sure if that made it into Velious.

That was fixed early velious.
The snare/root stacking patch changed lots of movement speed buffs.
Torpor + SoW shouldn't stack currently but it does.
Torpor + Root shouldn't stack either.
Selos + SoW/JBoots shouldn't stack (IE you shouldn't be able to bury SoW in slot 15 and keep that 50% Runspeed if selos gets dispelled)
I'm sure there are other examples.

No, still requires you to path the mobs directly through the your pet. Even then they may not agro. It feels like you have to path them through a server tick or the agro radius is too small for your swarm to agro. But when my charm gets low hp agro they all come running in so the defiantly are on the agro list, or the low hp agro radius is large enough to call them back in regardless.
On another note, I think low hp agro is broken and needs a radius to determine how far a mob will chase someone who is on the agro list but gets low hp from the other side of the zone. Places like Fear where Draco will charge from the west wall to the grave yard because the CT tank drops below 20% results in ping ponging on a mob that is already hard enough to fight because of extremely small hit box.
