Keep itemization changes intact if you think they're important. The PvE balance changes, especially with mob attack speed, flight speed and aggro have made this game all but unplayable. Please un-patch the servers, review the bugs being reported, and adjust your update accordingly.

Not saying I agree, but just got mobbed by every green con thing I passed in sol-a, and some mob attacked me (thankfully green) with basically no delay, threw 20-30 hits my way when between my attacks

Bugs are getting posted that explain what's happening. The big picture is this:

* Mob flight is broken (too soon / too fast)
* Green aggro is non-classic, at least on non-undead mobs below level 30.
* Some mobs have insanely high attack speed.

In general, this patch is terrible for the server community. People who could viably solo while waiting for friends to log in and form up groups now have little to do. Killing any mob while solo with melee is laughably difficult. This sort of thing was tricky but manageable in classic EQ, but here it takes an act of God.

Show of hands - who here plays a rogue, monk or warrior? This issue probably affects about a dozen of the active players.

Does anyone have some indication of when or what the fix is? As things stand, the only thing a pure melee can do when logging in is get PKed while trying to find a partner with root or snare. Developer response has been a defense of the change as authentic, regardless of the effect it has on some classes.

So yes, I want the patch rolled back until a rule set is ready that accommodates some pve without snare. Manastone, rubicite and guise have nothing to do with this, and can be left out of play (legacy flag).

The lawling up of this thread doesn't surprise me, but I'll keep on doing what I can to keep this visible, since squeaky wheels get the kick.
