remember in the beginning days of the box when people trolled for a wipe rogean made sure it was understood "the server will never be wiped or shut down" thus reassuring people that it wouldnt be a waste of time to keep leveling their characters?
well now that is out the window and literally every other sentence amelinda types is threatening to shut down the server so i ask: why should anyone invest the grueling time required to keep leveling their characters when Amelinda is constantly threatening to delete their invested time?
I promise you, community, if you shit up the boards a la cast, I will beg Rogean to shut the server down. And i'm fairly sure it won't take much begging as i'm fairly sure Nilbog, Null & Sirken would lose all patience with the project at that point.
Believe me when I tell you that it's not going to be an unlimited free for all. If it becomes a headache for the staff we will just shut it down.
