Client Unresponsive

I am having an issue when I try to choose either the existing character (level 1) or "create new character". Either way, the game becomes unresponsive. I have reinstalled the game, and the same problem occurs.

I am running the game in window mode and using Win7 as my OS. I was able to play the game the first day I installed it, but haven't been able to since.

Still having the same problem. I can get to character select, then if I try to create a character or enter world with the existing one, the client becomes unresponsive.

Try running as Admin?
