HI, I am interested in joining the EQ Classic Server. I read that I need to buy "Everquest Titanium" to run the Emulator.

Is this true/ is there a way around it?
would rather not drop $85.00 + just to start the game.

I still have my old Everquest box with code from 10years ago. (can you say Hoarder)

Bought updates up to Lucilin (not sure I have those_)Any suggestions to get me started?

and noticed in the Forums people selling toons for Plat. (is it against the rules to sell accounts for USA$$)-(i understand to keep the EQC econemy,,, just havnt read all the rules yet.)

Yes, you need "Everquest Titanium" to play on P99. I've heard that you may be able to find a copy of it at a buccaneer's anchorage.

This will not work.

No, you have not read all the rules yet. But here is the important one with respect to your question:
RMT (Real Money Trade) Sales
Any trading of any in-game objects for real life currency, including but not limited to coin, items, and characters, is not permitted. This is a global server rule as well, and people caught performing these transactions will have all characters involved banned from the server.

There is an illegal way to get Everquest Titanium but we do not endorse nor encourage going that route. I am lucky that I own 2 boxed copies of Everquest Titanium though :)

I'm just gonna go on record as saying...i dunno where you're trying to buy Titanium...but whoever is charging $85+ for a 7 year old box set of a game people only use on EQEmu anyway probably has Downs. That goes for $10 max. Maybe $5 now.

Besides theres...other methods. Consider it your first quest.

Everquest Titanium is expensive because people still want to find it for the reason you mentioned and it's not being produced anymore. There is a limited supply and there is still sporadic demand. My brother and I each bought a copy years ago to play the Project Everquest server on the EQ EMU. I'm glad that it has worked out for both of us that we now play Project1999 which is infinitely better and more populated.

Listen... all the subtle hints aren't going to get through to someone who made this forum post in the first place. They don't know anything about the Caribbean or the people who sail ships there.

Sorry to go off topic and discuss completely unrelated free software but: Go to Pirate bay and torrent it for free.

*By "it" I am referring to a completely unrelated freeware and NOT EverQuest: Titanium. My self and the members of this forum in no way endorse software piracy. All that said I once again apologize for going off topic and discussing said unrelated free software.
