Playing p99 first time

Hey guys i heard about this from a friend that quit the game itself and id like to start up but wondering what class/race i should do and why and maybe someone or a few different leveling buddies would help. if there probably wont be any groups at all i will just go to blue but if there are id be happy to play. just want some people to level with and have fun. i dont have any friends that will play.

Pick a class with soloability for downtimes.

I'd say druid, wiz, mage, enc, bard, or shaman. I'm a new(ish) warrior around qeynos if you wanna hang out with me.

Usually a decent pop around gfay if you wanna start there.
