Here is a screenshot of my sound settings (http://imgur.com/ejrNU). I just installed the game again, and I am hearing no sound, but all other programs are playing sound just fine. Is there some secret master volume I have to enable?

right before you log in click options and check those sound settings.

Still nothing :( It's checked, I wonder, could my Windows 8 pre-release version be screwing things up?

Run it in Win XP mode
