The best version of VZTZ died on my watch (as people are quick to remind me), so you don't need to speculate on why - I can just tell you. I didn't know how to fix the various hacks (zonecmd, MQ2 zone crashing), and the server owner's wife was sick of him running an EQ box out of their house.

It had population in the 200's when it went down btw, and in my several years of playing/staffing there I don't think there was a single thread complaining about global OOC, pvp kill broadcasts, or an increased exp rate. Not one.

I've only been on this forum for like a year, but Harrison has been the same person the entire time. His "fanbase" has grown significantly since then. Any interaction I've had with him has been fine. Not sure why everyone keeps trying to poke at him because he obviously is never affected.
