View Full Version : Ragebringer Worn Effect
I am just curious, does the Worn haste on Ragebringer work at any levels? or is it only 46-50ish that it starts to work?
I have heard mixed responses on it

I would be interested to see some proof that it does not work. My atk and ac show the effect working @ lvl 26 (green text on character stat page when equipped vs white in color when a different magical dagger is equipped)...are you saying that the AC and ATK portion of Seething Fury works and not the Haste?

Yea, I just checked it, both my AC and ATK go up and turn green when ragebringer goes on like there is a buff on..
I need to download something to parse so i can see
Well, my DPS stayed roughly the same whether i had my RBG on or Off

This just in, Haste does not work on server!

haste probably works, but ragebringer was on when i had rbg on or off so probably had haste from RB overriding RBG

In a very unscientific test I put a different weapon in main hand and RB in off. With that set up a 23 Delay weapon took roughly 3 seconds between swings, with the RB unequipped the time between swings expanded to 4 seconds.

Tested this today. It works from range on a level 25.
Yea, i was wondering because all the other Worn stuff such as cobalt helm and SS gaunts that have worn effects work at lvl 1, only their clicky counterparts take lvl 45

Isn't it 50% until 30, and then incremental increases until 100% at 60?

Unless it's coded differently here, worn effects always take effect at level 1.

Except i get full ATK bonus And AC bonus. Why would i get full effect of those 2 and only partial haste?

Well, its not that you don't get full effect from Ragebringer, its that the player is haste capped by his level, so even with 41% item haste and up to 60% spell haste, he will only attack as fast as his level-capped maximum haste will allow. See the Wiki Haste Guide (http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Haste_Guide) for details.

its true about that but the Ragebringer is only 40% haste and I do a decent bit of soloing while waiting for parties so I dont generally have haste casted on me so I am not hitting the cap.
When i posted I was asking whether the haste worked starting at lvl 1 or not and from what ive learned along with what oter people have showed it seems to work

Yeah, there's a pretty big difference between "not working" and "working as well as possible at that level".

You should be able to utilize 100% of the haste you are buffed/equipped with up to the cap for your level. So you should get the full effect from Ragebringer at any level, but any spell haste may not provided maximum benefit if you are already at your level's haste cap.
