Go here:
http://wiki.project1999.org/index.php/Healing
Mends moderate wounds, healing between 135 and 175 hit points.
Increase Hitpoints by 84 (L14) to 100 (L30)
Can someone explain that to me? Why does it say 135 to 175 in the first line, but later it says 84 to 100?
I want to know how much this spell heals for. Is it the same for each class?

I think some of the spell information is incorrect on the wiki and needs updating.
I've updated a few of the cleric spells myself after playing around with them.
Problem i think is a lot of the spells have been changed so many times people might be confused when making the articles.
Just go cast the spell a few times and figure out what it actually heals for then update the page.

In the beginning the lower numbers are what the heal spells did. Over the years Sony has raised the numbers to help with healing Tanks with a lot more HP due to better gear with each expansion. They have even lowered the levels you get them on live to help out.

yep.. like the wiki said Complete healing only did 7500 hp healed but i found out later it did up to 10K so i updated that (probably the only one that was higher then later lowered)
and it said word of vigor did 1250 hp healed but i found out it did 537 at level 53.
I'd just make an update here or there as you test out the spells.. only takes a second to change the numbers on the page.

Makes sense. Remember that grouping was getting harder so they had to give new players a boost. I wish they could have given a boost a bit differently to preserve more of the content. If they could find a way to make all of the content work together rather than against itself, then newer zones wouldn't be having to kill old zones. They just made it very linear so that new zones almost always offered better sh**.
It's kind of like having two spell lines that augment each other rather than replace each other. If you do it right, players shouldn't have to work any more or less to min/max their character fully.
It's a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.

Because back in 1999, we had no idea what spells actually did. We're just trying to preserve that classic spirit. Quit ruining my immersion, man!

Hmm.
Honestly, I was calculating how many times I'd have to cast a heal spell at lvl 9, versus the other levels that I get heal spells, and comparing the relative amounts. So, am I casting as many heal spells at 20 and 30 and 40 as I was at 9 to fully heal myself? Is it faster or slower? Just a technical question.

that train of thought in of itself makes no sense to me.
most people who play this game have all the knowledge already anyways.
and those who might not have the option to not use information resources out there and just play the game.

You will have to cast more because the higher you get the better gear you have and better HP buffs you have or get. Except for the Cleric Complete Heal. Most people other than a Ogre Raid Warrior aren't going to have 7500 HP lol.
