After Salty died charm broke, but as you can see I was able to loot him despite the guard slaying him, meaning that it had to have been my pet. In case anyone was doubting the legitimacy of big Wolfram's 2-0 kill on little Salty.

Training happens all the time brosef. If you are OOR expect for a train/fear engaged mob/pells etc etc...
