My wife and I would like to play p1999 together but it blocks one of us by stating that our IP is temporarily blocked.

How can we play together when one of us is always blocked? Is there something we need to do to fix this?

I think you have to go into the petitions/exploits section and make a new thread with the prefix IP exemption. Never done this myself so i'm not 100% though.

As long as you define soon as 2weeks or so then sure.

Really wish they would get to the IP exemptions sooner, Already started looking at other things to play. Shouldn't wait on it so long. We dont want to watch and take turns.

fyi we are on day 4 of waiting.

Mine took about 2 weeks just be patient. These people are helping us on their own time. It will be worth the wait trust me

Does it take ~ 2 weeks usually? I posted for an IP exemption a week ago and have been anxiously waiting, hoping it would be applied any day now. I didn't want to pester anyone since this whole server is for our enjoyment as is, but I am hoping it will get resolved soon; it sure is hard taking turns playing, especially considering the unforgiving nature of EQ lol.

You would think they would want to do this sooner, doesnt take long to do and brings more life to the server.

So.... I requested an exemption on 2-21 and admin finally saw it and replied last night... trouble was, they replied that They couldnt do it, as my second account had never been logged into... I read the instructions and created a second account, but had not actually logged in and made a character. I did that immediately after seeing their replay, but now am afraid Im going to have to wait another 17 days. Or maybe I should make another request? Ugh. Like another poster mentioned, I want to be respectful and not pester them, but now I dont really know what to do my request seems to be in Limbo. They didnt give me any guidance, just said " we cant do it, you havent logged into second account" Any thoughts?

Did you reply to your petition saying that you've done as they asked?

Ouch that stinks. I didn't know about having to log both accounts in before the IP exemptions were given either, until someone in game mentioned it.

My brother and his wife waited since the 18th of Feb for thier exemptions and when I heard about the accounts needing to be logged in, I immediately called him and told him.

Now, had I not, he too would have missed this exemption yesterday because his wife will not play without him by her side. She had no intention on logging in and creating a char and playing without having him playing with her.

I suppose in your situation, I'd reapply for the exemption under the bugs/exploits just as you did before, now that you have the second account logged in and perhaps send an in game petition explaining that you were unaware that both accounts had to be logged in prior to the exemption being made ( even though both accounts were created)
Even under bugs and exploits thread you can petition there under OTHER and explain there as well.

I really don't know what to tell you :(

Yes, I replyed to petition saying Id done as they asked, and I also sent the person that replyed t me an email. Hopefully that will be enough. I'll wait a few days and see what happens I guess. Thanks for your sympathy :/
