hey there, been working on my bands demo, mixing and whatnot (i'm learning as i go pretty much) and i've been using the program Audacity.... now 2 things that's ticking me off....

1.) The Equalizer is HORRIBLE! Doesn't allow sweeping, etc....

2.) The Equalizer won't save per track, you have to change it each time, so... if you need to go back to a previous track to re-eq.... it's not saved.....

anyone who might have some knowledge of this program, shed some light? or perhaps point me in another direction to a program that works well, with great plugins already, and isn't too pricey? i'd appreciate any info!

I'm using a copy of Nuendo 2 a friend gave to me way back in 2003, lol...still works like a charm.
