I watched a few videos and it looks decent. If Diablo 3 sucks I will probably play this. If they both suck I will wait for Heart of the Swarm.

the game i look forward to, though 38 stuidios hasnt released near to nothing in information about their mmo, though i understand that the release of kingdom of amulur will show people a sneak peak into the world of 38 studios future mmo to be released 2012 or 2013? dunno,

but i've read/listened to some interviews, and they were talking about if someone died, they should lose experience, and how much alot of the top devs on the project are fans of original everquest, and ect, the next mmo

though im going to play tera possibly, but to me no game has come close to being as much fun as eq is for me

Thank baby jesus for Arenanet who finally have the balls to move on and make something new in the mmo market. Aside from Eve online no one did. I guess thats the reason i find Swtor that boring. You may mask it with all the voice acting you like, the gameplay is still the same stuff EQ 1 established since 1999. Endgame in Swtor is just the same old method. Eventually you sit in a place and activate your dungeonfinder, jump into the group and start doing your spell rotation.

GW 2 wants to break that pattern. The first time you enter a dungeon or raid you will be in a story mode. You will learn the mechanics of the dungeon and the mobs wont be too tough so you may enjoy the lore. Then after you finished story mode the real fun begins. Each dungeon /raid will have three sets of difficultys. Each one will change the dungeon and the mobs a little bit. To beat a hardcore dungeon you and your team will need to be able adapt fast by movement, positioning and most important spell combination. Especially the last will be challenge. (The easiest combo for example, mage makes a firewall and the hunter stands behind it and shoots arrows thru it that become fire arrows when they hit the mob).

When it comes to PvP...sure wont be a PK game but your server will be fight two other servers in a two weeks long battle over a huge area with castles , towers etc. Your guild will be able to even hold castles and siege them etc...if its even any good as DAOC battles ill be more than happy.

ArenaNet said for every skill/spell they have to balance tables one for PvE or PvP. So they can balance a spell in PvE that might be overpowerd without screwing it up for PvP...which i like very very much.

I really look forward to it and hope that it all works well. No more fighting among my friends who needs to play a healer or the tank. Anyone play whatever they want. Genius!

@Silentone if its made a an asian company i know i wont like it. I cant have a little girl holding a sword three times her size...i hate that.
