Nah what hurts the population is the fact that there is none, not these threads. I read them before I started and they didn't deter me at all.

What sunk the ship was the fact no one is playing over level 10. I saw multiple people in the pre-10 levels but the people I did level with all quit before 10 and now there is just no one to level with 10+.

Everyone in game just says "roll a druid or necro". A better solution would be to implement global /ooc (has been obvious for awhile from the threads I have read) so the 2-3 new players on the server can at least find each other.

Blame the threads if you want, but in reality it's the lack of server patches to implement features to assist what small population there is left.

Well I also started 4 days ago and have been finding people to group with in Qeynos Hills / Blackburrow every night.


Global OCC will help with groups but until then head over to Qeynos, there are plenty of Gnoll fangs for everyone :)

I'd wait for the people you've been levelling with to leave and go with them. I went out on my own once i out leveled the area.

He is right tho, the amount of people to group with at the sub 30 level range has become near zero. In Faydwer anyways. Might just be that I mainly play super late at night.

150 or so people on nightly, people often level in secluded areas to avoid pvp..... It is what it is dude. Did you think EVERYONE would hunt in EC>Oasis>HK>SolB? Theres a big huge Norrath out there.

meh, this will be an ongoing problem, unless we continue to attract new players on a weekly basis, or everyone rolls alts continually for the new people to group with. Mind you, i'm not against global ooc, but it alone will not create players for newcomers to group with.. Sure, it will help them find same level people, but those players need to exist, to be found =)

all we need to do is to get the name of red99 out there, this server will be fine, was in ek yesterday soloing for 4 hours, durring the evening to 11pm, and i saw max 5 peeps soloing, lowest was 2

I would consider playing if they relaunched the server. I originally didn't start because of the guards being bugged and just standing there while people killed each other. I play BF3 for my FPS killdown and that has turned out much more enjoyable.

Very attractive proposition. Delete all the time and effort of players who actually play, so that jayfive will think about coming back.

Yep :) Easy for me to say since I didn't invest a billion hours into it since November, but the server launch was premature. They should have fixed a few major bugs before launching IMO.

I think they will just let it live on with the 100- people that play on it randomly.

Leave it but start a new server with loot or teams. Current FFA system is weaksauce because most of us give 2 shits about raid mobs
