This needs to be addressed. This was an issue in beta and it is becoming a growing issue as more and more people are exploiting this obvious bug.

For those that do not know, currently, Shamans and Mages can cast their bolt spells without requiring a LoS at the start or end of their spells. This means they can target an enemy in a dungeon and run to max distance around corners, down floors, and then kill their enemy with complete impunity.

Here are a couple of topics on the bug forums, that are being ignored. Please post on one of these to keep it bumped and get this addressed before the next patch.

envenomed bolt isnt a bolt.

It requires los like all other shamans spells. you got that one wrong.

it requires initial LoS but after that point it doesn't matter, not classic confirmed

half incorrect. confirmed.

It requires initial LoS, and if the caster does not have LoS at the end of the cast time then the spells range is reduced by 40-60%.

On live you could sit on the dunes in S Ro and fire bolts without a target at the innothule zone line. However, if anyone or anything intercepted the bolt on its way to the target it would miss.

Wrong, if anyone intercepted the bolt the interceptor would then be hit. This also happened with archery. It was used to exploit very heavily in Plane of Mischief.

then theres many walls where mages can LoS tru and other classes cant?

hard to explain that one!
