Who happens to live in the Midwest? Looking for a reliable ISP since Time Warner Cable is the biggest piece of shit fostered on technology since Windows 98.

Post suggestions please~

Yeah, I pay 40 bucks a month for this bullshit. Getting really tired of constantly resetting my modem, having <1 MBps service regularly, and awful customer service. Whoever rated this three stars is full of shit.

Don't think I can get Verizon up here though, without a phone plan. :(

Time Warner is great in NY.

Trying to see if we can get Comcast here. Unfortunately I live in an urban area, but not close enough to Chicago/Milwaukee to have access to some of the better ISPs. So now I get to hunt around and hope I can find something that doesn't cost 80 bucks a month.

edit - I think it's great Alaska has better fucking internet than Wisconsin. Seriously.

This is the shit I'm forced into using in rural upstate NY:

Hopefully moving soon so I can get Time Warner again.

Comcast seems to be the shit.

Comcast is ok when I'm not having problems with it. The speed is decent, but for whatever reason I'm constantly having connection issues in the Miami area. Not sure how the service is out that way.

It's behaving today though.

Definitely not going to go with Comcast, they want 40 bucks a month for even less speed than I have now.

Hopefully I can get AT&T to stop being douches and wire us in.

all we can get here is Wildblue and Hughesnet and dialup.. all are crap..

To play EQ, I have to sneak back into my office 3 days out of the week.. (nerdlicious).
