Best DPS weapon(s)?

From what I've heard, back on live it was the belief that Epic fist+Wu's put out the most damage because of the low delay and more application of the same damage bonus. Wondering if theres been any parses on P99 to determine this?

Not sure if Bisch is the only active monk atm with 2x Wu's fists? I know Daltheb had but he's been MIA I think?

i cant see 2 fists being that great but thats just me. im curious how well trorsmang parses vs. fist + off hand... im guessing its going to do more damage..

Here is what Copeland's Weapon Analyzer puts out at 59 (60 seems broken for monk):

Could someone please confirm for me if a 35 delay 2h weapon's dmg bonus is 20 or not? Lucy is not accurate for p99 and I don't have a Trorsmang and I'm also too lazy to look for a different weapon with 35 delay.

So by that reasoning Treats, Wu+Wu blows Trorsmang out of the water. Still wondering if we can get some .02 out of IB if they've done any parsing.

Trorsmang is horrid. That much I know. The fact that it doesn't get the 40 delay dmg bonus is what I believe to cause this.

So far with only 1 sky fist it seems that empty MH with sky fist OH is greatest.

I happened to be around 2 TMO monks (Jjlent and Silentone) the other day, for a fight. I don't believe any of us were buffed, and here's what I saw from the fight:

Jjlent (using VP staff and innerflame) - 6635 dmg / 58 DPS
Bruman (using AC / SoS and innerflame) - 5446 dmg / 49 DPS
Silentone (using epic) - 5058 dmg / 45 DPS [may have used Innerflame, not sure]

Note that I had my robe effect going the whole time, I don't know if Jjlent did or not, or if Silent had the CF effect going. I would assume both had it macro'd, though. I'm pretty sure Silentone was just rocking epic fists with no weapons, but could be wrong.

Wrong my skill was capped as of earlier that day and i was going fists 1/2 the figh then swtiched to tstaff 1/2 the fight on my parse each one did 21.0 dps about..so total of 42 dps and Fkick did about 3 dps. And yes i did hit innerflame and yes my epic was linked to my kick so it was up all the time. gamparse easily can differntiate between fists and crushing. so if u take a fight and wait till mob is half health and swtich ur weapons u can get accurate reading. for me tstaff = epic fists on trunt.

ok because we talked outside kc earlier that day and you said you had been parsing but your hand to hand wasnt maxed yet. Was that you or was it someone else I was talking too? I could of been confused.

No was me, but i maxed it in KC, wasnt off by much and the Parse Bruman is refering to is from later that night. So no you're not wrong but yes you are wrong =)

Yeah, I'm still surprised my parse ended up higher. You used tstaff and fists, both of which "should" be better than my AC/SoS. Weird =/.

Gate guards in West Freeport would be something thats good to parse against. Just need a cleric. This would give you the most accurate numbers.

I have months of logs for 2 Wu's fists and tstaff. Only problem is half of it is raid buffs. As of now the 2 sky fists are better than epic+ 1 fist from what I can tell.

Yea but Bisch you're in a pretty unique situation, very few monks have both sky fists. So the real debate is between Mainhanding our single sky fist, with an offhand of SoS... or Offhanding the sky fist and using main hand empty.

Also some people are stuck on the Bo Staff ... but it's horrid.

2x wu's= best, epic MH wu OH > Wu/SoS, trorsmang comes after that

This is all true for raid targets, but I do believe Trorsmang's is still better when fighting non raid targets. I was noticing a small spike in my dps when i would swtich from epic main + wu off hand to Trorsmang. I will get some more evidence on this in the near future been a bit lazy with parsing.
