Been playing on a DaoC freeshard for a while, but for some reason i think i may play back here again, probally juggle between both games until i find what one i like the best :} (p99 has been on my mind and i could run from the p99 drama even on a whole new game/server)

Wow more clerics than anything else? Cool but shocking. And Rangers, wth, I know everyone said they sucked but I knew some rangers on live that were decent tanks in exp groups. Did they suck until a specific expansion?

Rangers sucking was a fallacy, they were just never really exceptional at anything. A jack of all trades... until PoP where they became quite cool afk dps :p

That would be one to try, since the pop is insanely low. The tracking is nice too. I made one just to check for VS for my wizzie in KC back in the day.

Back in 99, I knew a couple Rangers that I would have rather grouped with and tank in my group than SK's/Warriors!

The class just has a bad rep for some reason.

I think here, it's simply the fact that the class isn't BEST at anything (besides tracking) and have a huge exp penalty to go along with that.
It's kind of shitty if you ask me but I'm still tempted to level mine up despite that.

I do remember in Rangers being a bit better in Kunark, much better in Velious, even better in Luclin, and quite amazing in PoP. Plus, how can you say no to a slow proc/haste weapon set with epics?

Sure they didn't touch a Rogue's dps, but a Rogue didn't come close to a Ranger's utility and OT abilities in groups.

Rangers hit rock bottom in Kunark thanks to their terrible defensive cap. I think it wasn't til Velious that they raised the ranger cap by 15 or 20 points to help the class; hopefully the higher cap is implemented here when Kunark is released and not in Velious.

I believe most of the melee caps / skills / damage Tables! / mana pools!/ etc , etc are set to the titanium client. I find it funny people say melee are gimped. When in true classic they were much much much worse.

Rangers are not as bad as people think. With Haste items and some of the insane ranger weapons besides mistwalker. I saw a ranger with a 150dam+ proc weapon and it had like 17delay... add that to double attack and poair clickable haste that stacks with haste Items... and you got some pretty steady damage! Don't rangers get greater heal? That right there pwns.

I am also surprised that clerics have the most lvl 50's.
This list shows me that Bards are very very underplayed at high levels. You see Tons of low level bards. But not many make it to 50. "like I did"

This list is also including the people like me that have more than 1 lvl 50 and more than 2 level 50's etc.
