What would be the best way to get a level 6 human in Qeynos to Faydwer?

get a teleport to:
-Spires in Gfay from a wizard
from a druid:
-druid ring in Butcher
or
-druid ring in SteamFont

Do it the way we used to back in 1999. Don't listen to all this "get a port" nonsense. Walk to North Qeynos, Qeynos Hills, West Karana, North Karana, East Karana, Highhold Pass, Kithicor, West commonlands, East commonlands, West freeport, east freeport, take the boat through the Ocean of Tears to Butcherblock Mountains.
Make sure you don't die!

Edrick, you forgot a step. "Wait until its daylight" right before "Kithkor."
Or was that part of "Make sure you don't die?!"
Back on live, I started in FP, and had a higher level "friend" who kept saying "Come to Qeynos, I'll twink you." Took me 8 levels and help from a friend to finally have the guts to make that glorious trip.
... just to find that he had moved, "come to Freeport, I'll twink you."
I did the second run on my own, no problems at all (other than changing my underwear after Kithkor). And rapidly figured out that this "friend" wasn't in the twinking business =p
"Come to Qeynos!" is still an inside joke amongst my friends. I do miss the epic-ness of it though. The modern MMOs just don't give the same sense of scale that the grand run across Antonica gave me.
edit - EQ atlas (http://www.eqmacwiki.com/eqatlas/atlas.html) is your friend for all cross country trips!

I do agree with the cross-Norrath run as the best way to go. One of my most nostalgic memories of the game is running across the continents with a low character. It just made the game feel epic. And it's even better when you don't know what lies ahead, this is a game of exploration and discovery. Just be sure to put all your stuff in the bank before you make the run so you don't lose it on your corpse.
Otherwise, look me up in game and I can give you a lift.

Biggest concern is that HHK is usually pretty empty and an invis is pretty much a necessity for a low level to get past the gnolls and orcs in HHK.

Very expensive for a new player, but cloudy potions will get you through High Hold. The other thing to consider is a run from Qeynos to Faydark is going to set you back a few hours even if you don't die.
I strongly recommend the run across at least once. After that, when the fear is too much for you, you can beg for a port :)

Bank your gear. run from qeynos to wk alone the east water. then south into sk at lake rath tear huge the left wall up the slope. the head west slong wall / water. the rest is easy just be careful in freerot. but swamp and ros are easy enough.

I think the southern route is best for a low level. north qeynos, qeynos hills, west karana, north karana, south karana, lake rathe, rathe mountains, feerott, innothule, south ro, oasis, north ro, EC, west freeport, east freeport.. a long boat ride... butcherblock, greater faydark. This way is probably longer but its definitely doable without invis (be particularly careful in Feerott and oasis/south ro).
Don't forget to get a bind..

walking across the world could be fun, but probably your best bet is to run to NK druid rings and just wait for a druid to appear and ask them for a port :P
Wizard rings in WK would be closer technically but there are precisely 1 bajillion times more druids that wizards.

Walking this route on a low lvl is one of my most nostalgic memories from back in the days. First thing i did on this server was walking it on a level 1.
