freeze while trying to log in

Anybody else having any issues this morning playing p99? I logged in this morning and everything was fine, then I gave a guy a port to WC and poof. My game froze. I thought it was just one of those things, but now every time I try to log in, the game just keeps pausing at the server selection screen with no recovery. I also noticed that each time I see the server slection screen, the server population goes down by about 10-15 players..

Apologies n advance if there was something about this already posted somewhere or if I neglected to find anything abut server maintenance being done today.

Nice. Hope you get back in and can have fun storming the hill. I had just dinged 34 and was running from a griff (don't want to lose my level!) and zoned into West Freeport and the same issue everyone else is having happened to me. Man I hope I didn't die and lose level

Bump -- I think the server may be experiencing technical difficulties again. Does this happen often? I'm not knocking it at all, just curious. I'm super impressed with everything on this server!

Error 1017:Cannot connect to the Everquest Server.
You may need to Re-run the update patch.
Repeatedly seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the patch server.
This is usually temporary.

Same here... To answer the above post, this is very uncommon. As a matter of fact, way more reliable than EQLive servers used to be :D
