New to the Server, but not EQ

Heya folks,

I just wanted to make a short post regarding to having just started here on p99, around 10 days or so ago.

I did approach starting EQ again with some trepidation, being based in the UK, I did wonder if the server population would be an issue for me, being based in GMT time; even though I have time to play at all hours during the weekends :)

However, I just wanted to say what a wonderful time I've had on my lil gnome wizzie Tombola! Everybody has been so helpful, responsive and kind, as I've dragged my little gnomish arse on numerous corpse runs around the old world :D

People buffing me, chatting and so forth. You've made me chuckle alot, which is good I think :)

Btw, I used to play a gnome wizzie on live, between 99-02 on TZ, called Smallpaul. I guess, not many TZ'ers here, but anyways, just thought I'd mention it lol.

Gnome now LF guild I guess. Hope to meet many more p99'ers in the future :)

I played a HUM WIZ named Acillatem in Knights of the White Rose.

Some days I miss the PvP aspect - the paranoid rush you always have. Other times it's nice to just relax and enjoy the company of guildmates on P99 w/out the BS (well it's a different kind of BS lol).

Acillatem!!! Heya mate. Wow! I've not seen that name in a good 10 years :) How you doing buddy? Funny you should post, I saw your name when I was doing various /who's a few days ago, and I thought to myself is that the same Acillatem that was a fellow wizzie on TZ all those years ago!

Ahhh memories of when TZ was a great server to play on, with player generated rules and manners ( loot n scoot, no bind rushing or corpse camping, etc).

I will have to catch up with you in game my friend :)

I tend to be around Thurs-Sunday/Monday. Tues, Wed and some Mondays are impossible for me to really play due to work and other RL comittments, but I'm planning on making 60 and hitting dungeons, planes and raid mobs on a semi casual basis, making friends and helping people out etc, just like I did back on TZ :)
