You can use /lfg to put a LFG tag next to your name, which allows people to do /who all LFG, if they're looking for more members of their group. So it's still kind of helpful.

Because that will never go over well with this servers playerbase.

If we had a server with 500+ people, we might not need global ooc being that you'd likely have people around you to group with. This is not the case. Right now its stagnating and declining because people log in and unless they are a solo class, stuck alone unable to xp or contact others.

Now global ooc is necessary. You can turn it off or ignore people if necessary, but for those looking for groups its invaluable.
