Osargen in HHK hitting for 70

Hi there,

This thread is to report the bug for Osargen hitting for too much damage. On live, it is reported that he hits in the 40's, and only double attacks.

I had a triple attack from him, all for 70 & lost 210 hp.

This happened to me today. I had fond memories of camping him on live for a few levels, and I know he wasn't hitting for 70. I know this is probably low priority, since it's been a few years since first reported, but it's definitely not right.

question where you killing him over and over ?

Note to mages:

Osargen is a six minute spawn in the jail. He is a lvl 22 rogue.

He is easy to solo with an earth pet. DS pet, pull him with strongest nuke. Play cat and mouse until pet's root sticks, and nuke him until dead. Run if you need to, at 20 he can be tough.

I did him from lvl 20-25. Boring camp, and poor loot (except for the occasional jade shard), but great xp for the solo mage waiting to get into a warrior camp.

I dont see a lvl 20 mage soloing him currently on P99. He has low HP, but hits like a truck. Perhaps he does need tweaking.

As a monk it is possible for you to solo here from 20 - 55. (i imagaine other classes maybe be able to as well) Start with everyones fav punching bag osargen. Come in at 20, camp him will high 20's.

Lvl 20 monk going toe to toe with him? Not likely

he hits for 46 or so and doubles He hits for around 40 or more and hits fast. He usually doubles attacks alsobut he can hit in the upper 40'she does double attack alot and hit me for 40's (ranger with 504 ac)he keeps doubling for 48 which is as hard as he hit me at ac 608http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=1613

Nowhere does it mention him hitting for 70, nor triple attak

on live my friend used to level up on him on his toons, but after a several kills he claimed every time it was as if Osargen got stronger and suddenly did more damage to you...

maybe can spawn randomly as a higher level ?

Yep He Definitly gets stronger the more you kill him....but he's not that hard for a lvl 17 magician if you know what you

I have camped very few npcs in my short life (level 27 Bard on 7th Hammer) for extended periods, but I have found that Osargen is a monster of many moods. There are times when he spawns I can take him down quite quickly leaving 3 or 4 bubs.. and there are times when I can't make a dent in him and I die a horrible experience thrashing death.

His spawn doesn't always backstab, but when he does, it's for 132 and up.

The longer I camped him the more powerful he became, the suddenly his dropped in power and the cycle started over. Be careful where you come into his spawn cycle. He can be a wimp or one mean mother. The cycle may be as many as 15 different incarnations.
