Doing quests with kill on sight high level quest NPCs - where's the limit?

I have been thinking of fixing some factions for my shaman, so I was wondering if it is possible to do a turnin with a level 61 KoS NPC, let's say like this:

- someone charm NPC (I believe charm is capped at level 60?)
- do turnin

alternative:
- invis to NPC
- helper (monk, SK) aggroes NPC
- open trade with NPC
- second helper casts invis on you
- first helper loses aggro with FD
- you finish trade with NPC while invis

Would that work?

You shouldn't be able to initiate a trade with an aggroed NPC, and charm is capped at 55.

Thanks for the info! So I'll have to find NPCs less or equal level 55 for Priests of Innoruuk faction - oh joy :)

With one multiquest on the Disciple Symbol of Innoruuk possible, it would work - there's a faction hit on a turnin with a level 36 mob... As for alternatives on turning in to the high level mob - would it be possible to harmony a level 61 and turn in from long range? Or open trade, possibly get aggro, but have someone mez and memwipe him then get invis?

What's the level cap on mez, memwipe and harmony/pacify lines? Anyone?

I was under the impression Dictate went up to 58
