Not sure if this is in the right forum but I wanted to check and see if it was legal to level a character that is on my dad's account legal. He stopped playing for awhile and fell behind me and I was wanting to possibly help him catch up. Wanted to make sure it was not a bannable offense beforehand. Thanks in advance for responses.

Yes. What you can't do is play two characters at the same time.

I have seem some people who play one character which should be considered criminal. :D

Then you apply for an IP exemption so that you can both play from the same location. Read the library and FAQ and stuff on the forums.

you have to go to the petition forum and ask for an IP exemption. could take a day, could take a month...they approve those in batches.

warning tho...don't be tempted to 2-box. you WILL get caught. srs biz.

Yeah, 2-boxing = bad. Keep in mind that this is a classic server; back in the early days of EQ there was hardly any of that going on. Besides, it's so much better to have real people playing with you. :D
