Spell file out of date but no patch note or download

logged on at 0135 CST and found that naked human character and message on the character buttons that my spell file was out of date. I was just playing this afternoon with no problem.

Log onto forums and expected to see patch to download but nothing here. anyone else getting this issue?

I'm having issues logging on again myself.

"Error 1017: Cannot login to the Everquest serv er. You may need to re-run the Update Patch. Repeatedly seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the Patch Server. This is usually temporary."

Maybe the new patch is being deployed?

Occasionally the login server bugs out and gives this message. just close out EQ and try to log in again.
