Just thought I'd toss this up here and see if there were any other players with an amateur interest in economics.

The series is fascinating as are the debates which immediately follow each episode. While I don't always agree with Friedman (for example: he's completely wrong about the cause of the Great Depression and un-regulated medicine is an abysmal idea), I do think he had some interesting and important things to say. Also he's a lot more accessible (and a lot less crazy) than anarcho-capitalists.
