View Full Version : NPC Spawn Issue: Droprate on Rubi BP / Spawn on AoF?

Probably not a bug, just curious about spawn and droprate. I've camped it over 24 hours now - including an 11 hour, yes, 11 hour straight session today with 0 interruptions. I had 3 Avatars spawn in 11.5 hours. 0 Avatars in 5 hours yesterday. And I don't remember how many in 7 hours on Friday. Can you share what his spawn and droprate are?

I wouldn't call 70-75 spawns on a 23 minute timer is horrendously small.

Another 11 hours logged camping this guy. Yes, logs this time.

I clearly remember camping him back in 1999 on the Veeshan server 2 weeks before Rubicite got removed. It took me 19 non-stop hours to get a rubicite bp, during which the AoF only made an appearance 3-4 times max.

Sounds about right man. It's set to be UBER rare because at the time it was the best item in the game (people had no clue manastone was getting removed and it was very easy to obtain vs rubicite bp - plus there were only a few rubicite bp's on the server vs tons of manastones)

Both the drop rate and the spawn rate are depressingly low, but I think it's classic, sadly.

Everyone and their twink on Red99 already has a rubi bp. I think it took me about 40 hours on Blue99.

Well, between 3 of us this has been camped non-stop for the past 28 hours - in addition to the hours earlier this week of mine. 20+ claws, still no bp.

Nilbog, care to shed some light on this droprate?
