Your classicness is noticed and appreciated.

The original 1999 subscription price of eq was $9.89/month. 989 Studios was the division of soe which helped developed EQ. Related? I don't know.

To everyone else: all donations above or below this amount are equally appreciated.

Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Thank you to all the donators, GMs, and especially developers.

That said, it is time for the Airing of Grievances, and I got a lot of problems with you people! And now, you're gonna hear about it!!

I didn't know this, because I was on the plan where I paid every 6 months (since it was much cheaper).

$10 a month didn't last long. I remember them talking about market research with what users felt was a fair monthly price and it was overwhelmingly $10. A couple years later it was up to $13 and a couple years later $15.

What happened to people? I remember the entire MMO player base ready to march with torches and pitchforks if a company even suggested micro transactions or selling items in early 2000.

Now it's like no one gives a shit.

I think its mostly because american money is so weak atm... hell even canadian dollars have been stronger than american dollars for a few years now... but as long as p99 can stay up and running with donations im happy... (let me know if you ever in trouble ;p)

Kind of looks like he is extending gratitude for those that do. Not asking for more.

I've been planning to donate as I think this is an awesome experience and wish to support it.

I was wondering; was the cause of yesterday's "data center" outage determined? What class of service are all the servers covered under? Perhaps my donation to the project and community could be of more substance if I could get a discount through my company for redundant server co-location?
