View Full Version : EverQuest restarts my computer about 10% of the time.

When I launch my EQ shortcut on desktop, it often restarts my computer under Windows XP.

right click 'my computer'
go to manage
go to event viewer

find out what happened

Windows cannot query DllName registry entry for {CF7639F3-ABA2-41DB-97F2-81E2C5DBFC5D} and it will not be loaded. This is most likely caused by a faulty registration.

That one may be it.

I see it is something to do with goddamn IE8, which I don't even use. Just sometimes my Automatic Updates recommends security updates for it and crap. Well, I see a thread on Google on how to edit registry to likely solve this. Thanks for your help, Nilbog.
