Pretty much that... its WoW + Lightsabers + insane amounts of crap voice overs and beyond dull quest grinds.

Terrible game.

Oh, and the space combat (real reason I was looking at it, and accepted beta invite) is just a rail shooter.

Not worth the download for beta, much less 59 bucks.

EQ is EQ after all it is 12 years old and it we dont expect to change it. A next gen mmo thought, should have new mechanics of gameplay. Overall Swtor has none. Shiny graphics neat Lore and voice acting are not gameplay. The mechanics are the same as wow...so why even play if there isnt really anything new? Is just like all these Battlefield, CoD games. Yes they were great and fresh back then...and intense...right now they are just shiny with mucho Physics...witch aint new gameplay. On the other Hand Guild Wars 2 is REALLY doing something new. Breaking up holy trinity and moving away from Quest driven World to a dynamic event driven world. Also when it comes to PvP. DAOC Style RvR Type PvP but 3 Servers fighting each other at once without players limits, sieges and bonuses for the dominating Server....i dont know if it will work but im more willing to put my money on it and buy the product than buying Swtor where i get a gameplay i already know and find boring.

stop with all the guild wars 2 crap... lol from what i can ascertain underneath the layers of bs is that its a pve game with instanced pvp, everyone will have same lvl weapons armor etc ,, nothing new there nothing new,, if u want a pvp game look for a korean release like tera or archeage , guildwars 2 will be like all the others and cater to wow generation

Yeah GW 2 will have instanced BG after all it is a ESL game. But there will be no player limit huge RvR Zone with castles to be taken by guilds that will be fought over by three different server population ( no player limit hence no instance). I enjoyed DAOC RvR very much so i look forward to siege warfare...and yes everybody will have the same lvl in PvP so YOUR skills will matter not loot and lvls. I dont mind playing PvE if it is out of box and different and GW 2 PvE is totally different.

SWTOR is like playing a multiplayer version of KOTOR except the worlds are bigger, there is more gear and more shit to see and vehicles(not fag owls and pixy sprite bullshit) and space combat and you can pvp.

Quest fest > Grind fest any day of the week.
