So , pros/cons of semi-classic (came about before kunark, but not at very beginning) "white-con" system if in range?

If someone is within range to you for PvP, they con white. If out of range, red. If below range, green. 3 colors for PvP

Discuss.

Pros:
* Was arguably one of the best changes early classic PvP
* Challenges and excitement of over/underestimating an opponent
* Extra sense of observation required
* Termination of little kiddies roaming the continent for blues for a guaranteed kill. Let's face it, a lvl 12 will dominate any lvl 8, or a lvl 28 will dominate any lvl 24.
* Fun sense of "Ha I bet you thought I was lower lvl... bitch."
* Takes what you wear into consideration .. I remember I used to undergear myself so I looked lower lvl (well, as caster, easy.. just take off robe and you look weak)
* Overall, more entertainment in the game and less trolls. Let the trolls get trolled if they needlessly engage without observing what spells they are casting to determine level and such
* Create a sense of darwin's theory to allow idiot pkers to be slain for rushing in without observing their prey.

Cons:
* ..what cons? Perhaps if you are one of the weak ones that can only kill light blues, you won't appreciate this ;)

this is simply not true, a lvl 8 mage with an earth pet can dominate a lvl 12 simply with root spams. please stop making these threads

There are literally no cons to this system. Can someone think of one? Anyone? One con?

Would be nice to have the sense of frailty, rather than being terrified of a red con and bullying blue cons.

I quit playing because I've noticed only reds attack me and blues are too easy to kill. It's no fun.

Coding this in would be simple in comparison to the more important issues. It's probably some easy if/else statement in a single file

I didn't quit, but it definitely is a game changing experience

Question: In Utopian society, why does there always need to be an anarchist?

I don't this came before Kunark, actually pretty sure it was post-Velious. Regardless, I do think it would be a worthwhile change. Put some more guesswork into pvp imo.

False question. In a Utopian society, who wouldnt be a anarchist?

A utopian society by definition could have no anarchists.

A Utopian society is one made by anarchists and it needs anarchists to exist and evolved...we already had everything else :-D

If you con them you can already tell because of a custom feature. See if ye can pin point it.
