Few things wrong with bards here :

single target mez last 1 second, every time
single target dd with a knockback, has no knockback.
Speed buff does not remove root/snare as it should.

Bards song require LoS at start and end while casters dont need LoS at the end.

Uhhh... what? You're talking about crission's pixie strike right? It lasts for about 18 seconds. You're doing something wrong.

Log on and test again Wolf. It lasts ~1 second every time. The AoE one lasts much longer. I tested it on 3 different people and every time it had the same result of breaking faster than a stun.

Are you sure they weren't dotted?

It works perfectly fine in PvE. There might be a problem with how it works in pvp, I can check.

Alright, I'm sorry, I feel like an idiot. I assumed everyone I was mezzing was just dotted, but it turns out that our mez is actually broken (I tested it on myself and like you said, it lasted maybe a second). I can't believe no one on the receiving end of this spell reported it as being broken.

The first one should be the same for both bards and casters. Otherwise you take out the entire strategy of PvP in dungeons.

Do you zone in under 12 seconds? This would be the only way to test this, since all of our songs fade in 12 seconds.

Not sure on the faction one, but the few times I tried it for selling, my faction never appeared to go up.

I can't believe you've been saying it was fine for the last 7 days without ever testing it yourself, even flaming people over it.

The tick timer goes 00:12, 00:06, 00:00. 00:00 is 6 seconds long just like the other 2. 18 seconds starts at 00:12. That's 3 ticks. If it started at 00:18, you'd have 4 ticks and 24 seconds.

I never "flamed" anyone over it, and I did test it. Learn to read:

By the way, the first time I ever responded to this "bug" was a day ago, so no, I haven't been saying it was fine for a whole week. I just assumed my fellow players were honest and that they were breaking out of my mezzes due to dotting themselves. This is a fair assumption at my level; also since it was working in PvE it was hard to grasp that it wouldn't work in PvP. I guess I was wrong; this says more about the people who chose to continue exploiting this than it does about me.

Some zones i zone under 12 sec. I tried to find patch notes for any changes but couldnt find any. DA song and zoning was always a strat and the use of the long selos to get to PoM in ToV.

lazortag why do you keep the same schtik up, every thread its like you're angsty because no one recognizes you as some mystical player who has commandeered the skill of 10 men as a bard. Relax dude, no one really cares - chill.

4. Bard faction song does not work (I've been rigorously testing this .. before I go to cb, I'll sing this song on a kelethin npc to see if faction changes, go to cb, come back and see if faction should have changed from the song) because I want my smithing expenses lowered.

Resist songs not stacking is crucial, selos shouldn't last through zone that was added later, no comment on bard AE mez or faction

Yeah I remember using Selo's Chorus for dungeons an awful lot. But that was what, Luclin? Still.

Great job on combining everything xblade724.

I am not sure that Rhythms ever stacked with other Rhythms. I know you can stack them with Psalms though, to make one type of resistance really high.

I doubt Rhythms stacked with Rhythms. Psalms yes. You seem to be correct in both of your points.

Buff stacking is determined solely by what slot each component is in. There is no hard and fast generalization to apply to all effects, and original stacking can be determined with 100% accuracy from the spdat.

That said, almost everything should already be in the right slot.

I have proof that guardian rhythms stacked with both the other rhythms but that purifying/elemental rhythms do not stack with each other, if anyone really wants to dispute this. It's called "everlore archives".

Uthgaard

To make an example of its reliability, I'll confirm this with the spdat.

Guardian Rhythms has AC in slot 1, Magic Resist in slot 2
Elemental Rhythms has Magic Resist in slot 1, Cold Resist in slot 2, Fire Resist in slot 3, AC in slot 4
Purifying Rhythms has Magic Resist in slot 1, Poison Resist in slot 2, Disease Resist in slot 3, AC in slot 4

Magic resist in slot 1 and AC in slot 4 would prevent Elemental and Purifying from stacking with each other, since the values and formulae are identical, they would overwrite each other if cast by the same bard, or bards of the same level.
Since Guardian Rhythms has AC in slot 1, and Magic resist in slot 2, it wouldn't conflict with either Elemental or Purifying Rhythms.

The spdat is a reliable source of information for those that know how to interpret its data.

Sorry, for some reason I thought all of the buffs that buffed only one resistance were called Psalms. Guardian does stack with the other two rhythms for a really high MR, when needed.

ok cool about resists -- i'll update my compiled list. maybe i'll start a new thread with this compiled list since op isn't responding
