These guys are not spawning in Lesser Faydark.

They are supposed to only spawn during night time as additonal spawns (12-6 am) and should wander the zone. If they can't spawn as intended, maybe change one of the "a mummy" spawn (there are 2 spawn spots in the zone near the Obelisk) so they spawn the ghasts as this has been done on other emulators.
They drop the Putrescent Heart for the Initiate Symbol of Tunare quest http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=1252
The quest NPC Yeolarn Bronzeleaf in Northern Felwithe http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=829 gives the text to allow for the hand-in. The next neck quest in the chain doesnt come until Kunark.
