That's right folks...the #1 exploiter on the server has pulled off yet another unclassic move. He is no longer Masterkova...he is Lovely. You see, apparently he made so many enemies before server launch someone decided to roll a toon named Lovely, and beat him to it. Here we are a month later and for some unknown reason his name is Lovely. Server has gone to shit. GM Favoritism at its finest.

PS - Try asking for a name change in classic era...you didnt get the name you wanted? Tuff Shit

It should NOT matter...changing names is NOT classic. They wont even change the names on the blue server, why do they change them here? Does not make sense at all.

I've tried to get Slapen's name changed, after I acquired him in a trade, on blue a few months ago cuz of the bad reputation he had built up in the 2 weeks prior to me getting him, but the GMs declined the change of name.

Amelinda told me that they dont do name changes...so that's why im upset. What makes you so special?

Look back a bit. Lovely did actually do alot of parsing work for red99 despite all the flames it incited. I'd have to say he/she/alien/it is probably well deserved for something as small as a name change. But my speculation still stands that iovely probably just gave up the name.

Okay I'm done trolling - The guy that had the name Lovely PM'd me and told me that I could get my name back, so he deleted his toon and I made a new character called Lovely (level 1 character) and then I got my name back. That's it. Nothing to see here my friends!

Well this thread is out of control.

When the server originally opened and many people were stealing names, they petitioned on opening day. The guides asked me what to do about it and I told them give it several weeks and if the taken names haven't logged in since opening day we'll rename those and grant the original name to those petitioning. From what I understand, Masterkova was one of the people petitioning on opening day for his name. Fast forward several weeks and he actually got the person to delete the character and remade the level 1 on his own account. After verifying this a guide granted him the name.

I know some of you newer players on the red server haven't been around to witness the massive amounts of false gm favoritism claims over the several years of the blue server that always turned out to be troll attempts, so I'm trying to cut you guys a break. We don't tolerate this bullshit on the forums, and we don't tolerate players trying to spread false propaganda to troll the staff. We've proven over and over that your limited view of a situation inflated by the biased views of others and occasionally the lies of the subject (Lovely trolling you in tells) does not mean you are suddenly the professional on the topic.

Skorge, not only are you posting in the wrong section, but your concerns should have been brought up to management, and they may have been addressed in the correct manner. That's multiple forum violations.

Every server, every game, eqlive included, has been through players making these claims of the staff. The fact is, Amelinda is one of the most fair guides I've had, and to say she is playing favorites is absolutely absurd. Don't make us regret the decision to put up a pvp server, I can easily merge the characters into blue and shut it down.
