View Full Version : Game Mechanics: Kedge Keep aggro / melee range / mob pathing

I was in Kedge Keep yesterday with a mage duo partner. Apart from other bugs experienced (see the 100% health thread), we cleared the entrance area easily, then pulled a cauldronhead and an add from the next room down the vertical shaft. However, my mage buddy lost health faster than I could say "heal incoming" when mobs got to him - according to what he said, he had 4 mobs on him. I was standing next to him, aggroed the pull to try and pick mobs off of him. I never saw more than the original 2 mobs we wanted to pull. The mage died, and I never got aggro from anything but the two mobs - and they were wusses.

It seems to me that the adds were somehow "ghost hitting" my buddy without actually being in the same position... Aggro never transferred to me from attacking the fish we meant to pull.
