I noticed that if you start casting right after getting hit, you get interrupted. According to people in the Qeynos hills I'm not the only one who's seen this happen. I put a picture of one such example... no, I didn't move while I was casting

yep, i've noticed this as well. it probably has something to do with client / server prediction and cannot be fixed (easily at least)

Yes, this is annoying as fuck. I'll take some screenshots as well. I'm so used to timing my spell cast the instant I get the "soandso missed you" message, yet I'm still getting repeatedly interrupted for no apparent reason, over and over.

Are you sure it wasn't melee push or something?

He is saying he gets hit, then instantly starts casting. Then before he is hit again his spell is interrupted.

The only way it could be melee push is if you are insinuating that the hit is rolled(damage is taken), and then there is a (seemingly large) period of time in game until the push from that hit is applied to the character.

I assumed this was normal and I was still being knocked back slighty from the original hit. It seems to happen a lot more when your on a slope which supports this. On beta, this ceased to be an issue at higher levels where channeling was better.

I remember this shit from live. It happens if you begin your cast too soon after being hit. Melee push isn't completely instant, it takes a very brief moment of actual movement rather than warping you from one /loc to another. If you begin your cast during this .3 seconds of movement, it can get interrupted. This becomes almost completely unnoticeable at later levels when channeling skill is high, because the tiny amount of distance you move while casting during the last third of the pushback movement isn't enough to make a significant impact on your channeling check unless you're like level 4.
