Server Select Screen Problems!!

So I get to the server select screen and hit play, and it acts like its taking me to the character select screen, but then boots me to log in!? Anyone else having or had this problem? Was playing last night and had no problem!? As far as I know all my files are current up to last patch!?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I know it does that if you camp, log out, go back in asap. Your character hasnt logged out from the world yet. On live there use to be a bug where if you /quit or /exit, which completely closes EQ and takes you to desktop it would sometimes keep your character in world [Linkdead] for hours on end and you couldnt get in til it booted itself.

Never scene that bug here before though or heard of it. Are you trying to load more then 1 char? Cant 2 box here it IP limits you.

My only thoughts. Also friendly reminder, next time post under the tech thread, might get a faster reponse :)

That happens to me about once a week... but i just restart eq and it loads up just fine.

I try not to go too much into computer stuff unless it prevents me from playing for a long time.

Are you able to get into the game after restarting eq?
