Also +1 to whoever I heard was pk'ing inside the inn in Felwithe making the HLF alts come all the way back to finish quest lol.

As a necromancer I think the dagger should be nerfed or removed, this was a legendary/legacy item on live not commonly known about, every motherfucker has this item,gives everyone a base starting disease resist of 75 k -_-

I got a couple myself, and yea the inn was good times...I think the only way P99 could have avoided this was to make the thex dagger available for 1-3 days or so...at this point only a few knew how to do the quest....P99 is all about emulating classic experience - classic experience shows that only a small handful had thex daggers in classic.

I highly doubt you knew about this quest on live before it was taken out. start a trend and delete your thex daggers then.

if its something not being enforced by a gm then ur crippling urself by not getting the item, but as it is now, NOT CLASSIC, not classic for every motherfucker on the server to have +50 sv disease. It's not a huge deal, but since someone pointed it out, thats my 2 cents. :)

Doesn't seem to fucking matter anyway as resists under 100 appear to do nothing. I know I'm still getting blinded for minutes straight with like 65mr, so I'm assuming it's the same for dr.

I'm not saying the GM's should do anything about it, but this isn't just a problem for pvp, it's also a problem for PvE. Any raid mob that casts disease based spells will be trivial.

Well that would be a base resist disease of 65, for those that hold the dagger.

With most of the server having them though, think of it as helping to bring pvp "balance" to the overpowered shaman and necros of the world :)

Hmm these thex daggers + the very easy noob quested butcher mitts (or whatever they are, that give +25 to dr/pr) , a lot of combos are gonna be running around with 90 disease resists at level 5 heh.

Since option 1 is impossible, I recommend option 2. I am currently working with my guildies <Threaten to Quit> to come to some basic terms of our threat to quit your box such that our demands can be simplified and thus more easily accepted.
