While I've played quite a bit on Live in the past, I never actually sampled the PvP, so this will be my first taste of it. I'm not new to the game or anything so I don't need handouts or advice or any of that, but it'd be nice to know what to expect on this server, specifically during the newbie levels.

Can anyone comment on the experience thus far? Any stories to share?

Generally paladins are the best class. Avoid necros and shammys, they're worthless in PVP. If you say to somebody "I surrender" they'll stop attacking you. As for the server, it's like blue right now since everyone is so low level. Just trying to level up fast.

Cause I'm not asking for advice, I'm asking for funny experiences and what to expect. Not the same thing.

it's like blue, only you occasionally get ganked by a group of 3 mid-combat.

You can expect to sit next to the guards like classic eq, thinking you are safe, but realizing they don't care about their citizens no matter how warmly they look at you. You can expect to die in a pvp battle and lose EXP instead of just coin. You'll expect classic red, but find a very altered red that isn't as good as expected since it's... well, not close to classic at all

i'm lvl 9 & only got PK'ed once

If you know what you're doing, the PvP is no big deal to your survival.
Just spices things up a wee bit

3rd thread with xblade complaining about guards not protecting him.

Confirmed lost 3 gold at caster guild due to gank.

I already got ganked 4 times in Freeport and laughed about it. Those guards will regret not defending me when I'm high enough to kill them and take their shiny weapons.

Now that's funny. Guy gets mad at me and cusses me out over PM because I ran to bank my money after he attacked me without warning.

Oh yeah, this server is gonna be fun if people bitch you out just because you run away.
