EMU Customization

Checking out some of the Servers I see Customization mentioned often, though I understand the concept, what does it really entail? For example a custom NPC, does this mean a certain list of items are on that NPC that you can buy?

I've also seen custom spells mentioned and custom quest. I'm kind of curious what all this means.

Custom quests, items, repopulated zones.. the list goes on.

Just try it out, it doesnt take long to figure out.

Buff bots, hail the NPC , click something and boom, you're buffed
