-What's your favourite class and why?

My favourite is the enchanter. I love being able to control what mobs do, debuff them and also be able to turn myself into whatever race I want.

I also like necros, as they can do a lot and like DOT kiting.

In Projec1999, I really like the druid as they can do a bit of everything and port on top of all. On Live, I can't stand that they've been turned into second class healers and ports are not needed.

-My least favourite classes has to be the warrior, I just find that they're not that interesting to play. I understand that they require skill to keep aggro on you at all times, it just doesn't interest me.

I come from the school of "if you're being hit, you're doing it wrong" and I solo most of the time, so melees, in general, are not my thing but warriors just get on my nerves.

Favorite: shaman. Boss class, jack-of-all-trades. Does nearly everything every other caster does, and quite well too (and trumps all the others on certain fields).

Least favorite: paladin. It's like, a hybrid between ranger and another ranger. With all the good parts taken out. Em tried to make em even remotely interesting by spoiling em with flaming ego-swords.

Favorite Class: Erudite Paladin (I threw the race in there)

There's nothing like making a badass character out of the worst possible combination. It adds depth to the character and allow for a truly unique experience. Have you ever seen a 60 Erudite Paladin walking around with a Fiery Avenger? That individual deserves respect.

Plus, the paladin is an amazing class if you do it right. The best tank I've ever seen on p99 was a High Elf Paladin. Obviously if you just take a class straight out of the box and expect to be able to necro-pwn with it, you'll be very disappointed. But, if you take the time to get to know the class and your role in a group, I think you'll find the Paladin has much more to offer than most people believe.

favorite: enchanter - awesome solo, awesome farmer, awesome in groups (part of the holy everquest trinity), best dps (charmed pet of course), best cc, best tradeskiller (like that matters... but whatever), can aoe in skyfire 56+, best powerleveler for certain classes, people will suck dick for crack. can be a boring buffbot in sky raids but otherwise it's a fun and engaging class overall.

least favorite: druid. you can quad? and port us to raids (other than sky and hate). sorry, we need a REAL healer/dps/shaman for our group. no, that's okay, we'll wait for one. thanks anyway brew.

no least fav, although, for favorite. I think we've all had those encounters with wandering druid vets in our lowbie days offering the most help. the classes are all filled in nicely IMO.

Favorite: Bard. One, running around with millions of people following you is the dream of any musician and it allows myself to fantasize that I am both popular and in a fantasy world. Two, the ridiculous amount of spells they have is just full of <3

Least Favorite: Rogue. Boring, no spells and one real attack, do the same thing from 1-60, in my opinion

Most Fun: SK - I had more fun solo questing/grinding than ever before. In groups pulling was a blast but on raids it kinda sucked. Occasionally pulling and being somewhat self-sufficient on heals was nice though.

Least Fun: Rogue - The dependance on others made casual play difficult. The damage was amazing due to the easy epic but as mentioned kinda boring. The real dredge was playing CR biotch in groups and raids, aka: Finding out the hard way what sees through sneak.

1-59, I think Enchanter is amazing for all the reasons metatroll quoted. If you take a 5 man group without one and add an Enchanter, their DPS will triple. Literally. And Enchanters are also the best solo class if you don't mind dying a little bit - I really don't see how any other class could solo Brogg.

But it all evens out a 60, where you become a buff bitch.

Wizard meanwhile is the reverse: 1-59 is retarded and no one wants to touch you, but at 60 you have an awesome raiding character which doesn't require much work.

When I had a 60 monk, they were my favorite to play. I loved flopping to places most classes couldn't venture - laying at Trak's feet, or flop-sneaking around Kael to explore....

I'd actually go into Kael and aggro junk and run it around just to master the pathing for pulling on raids and get my timing perfect (allowing all but one of the mobs I pulled to return to spawn and standing up just before the last one does, causing a single pull).

And there were those rare times i'd get 1 or 2 feign failures in a row and i'd have to burn mend and stonestance and use all my stamina on jumps to stay alive, maybe jump off a ledge to buy some time or LOS casters...
