Hi all
I wonder where is best zone for leveling when playing on euro times?
Iam somekind of stucked in level 22.
The whole week i just found 1 group and most of the time i spend LFG.
I was in loio, ot, guk, sola, nk, ek and always found it hard to find a group as wizard.
Sure i can solo with root and nuke and med during LFG but this gets really boring.
Wonder if there are more people having this problems?
Or is it just because wiz are meding class and people dont wont them in groups?
Thanks in advance for any help on this topic. :)

ps: English is not my native language. Excuse for spelling errors. :P

In my opinion wizards get a bad rep because a LOT of them tend to just ninja afk and toss a nuke here and there. While wizards can potentially be great burst dps, most of the times they can easily be overshadowed by other classes that offer much more then one nuke every fight.

For the most part its hard to get groups as a Wiz when leveling up.

Its all good though, you will have the last laugh when you hit 56. Then those DPS classes that are wanted in groups(Rogue/monk/Mage/warrior) will be left out in the cold for the best exp in game.

AOE Skyfire groups......

hello there. a lot of times you may need to gather people up from around the world and assemble your own group. i did A LOT while leveling. try to group in an area that everyone is within 2-3 zones of and people will be more inclined to group there.

Ok thanks for the respond.
That was my feeling about wizard's in lower levels.
I hope to find more friends when i get my first group ports at level 29+ :)

Other spots to try are Unrest and Mistmoore, which get a fair amount of traffic.

Yeah, wizards tended to have a hard time getting groups at the lower levels, sadly.

Although, when you get Atol's Specteral Schackles, you could try quadding.

Thats my first milestone to reach 29 for snare. :)

More of a mid-level pop issue then a WIZ issue. Population is just not very good at levels 20-30 in my experience.

Staying patient is all you can really do. There is usually 1 group going on in LOIO, just hope they don't already have someone filling your role lol.

Skyrim just came out and I think a lot of the less fanatical EQ players (which is probably more lower level ones) have been playing with that.

Yesterday, I was the only person in Oasis at about 10:00pm PST.

honestly after leveling a wizard from 1 to 60, i will tell you finding a group at any level will be pure hell. keeping in mind what i mean is that no one will really ever ask you to join a group!

However, and with that said, the alternative is simple. Form your own parties. As much as groups are filled with disdain for wizards they are infinitely more lazy than the severity of their disdain. To clarify, if you are willing to form a group no one will care what class you are. I managed to do 1 to 50 in like 3 weeks playing dailying from 8am est until 5pm est (which is basically prime Euro time) by forming my own group and messaging every able and level appropriate tank and healer regardless of whether or not they had LFG up. I find that most people who level so do so because they sit around waiting for someone to invite them to group. Take a little initiative and you will skyrocket in your levels!

It's not that iam sitting the whole day till the mighty:'Nasguhl' gets an invite. :)
Sometimes iam sending tells to poeple in the zone or i look which people are lfg.
Ofcourse i got just bad luck so far.
But ill still will play my wizard and dont give up.
I dont have a problem if its take longer than normal to level.

This server is really classis.
Somedays you have nice groups and somedays nothing is going on.
It reminds me a little when i start playing with everquest from the year 2000-2003.

Thanks alot for all the nice comments so far. :)
