Connection Issues

Yesterday I was playing fine, but when I tried to log in today I got an error 1017: Unable to connect to server. Got the EQEmu patcher and updated with that, no luck. Reinstalled EQ and still no luck. I am able to log into other servers (red99, EZ, irreverent) all using the same client, but not the main p1999 server. Any ideas?

Dunno if it matters, but I am running XP-SP3 on an IBM lenovo x200.

Same thing has happened to me now, have to try 20 times to get in game.

same. Yesterday everything was working as intended. Today, trying to get to the server select screen is not working 1/20th of the time and I crash between server select and character login.

The eqemulator and p99 sites seem to be functioning slowly or intermittatnly as well.

other sites on the interwebs seem to be fine.
