Really? My wife is going to watch this movie with her friends, which means I get free time to play more that day! Perfect day for release. It balances out the levels of shitty to awesome in the Universe.

Just don't go to see it on the day it comes out. I always wait a week or so to see the new Twilight/Harry Potter movies, so the theater is less crowded :P

The only reasons to watch that shit movie series are to:

1) appease the female (getting laid is not sufficient, should be doing this anyway, and learn to wear the pants, but getting her to shut up is 1000x more important)

2) so you never have to see them again, or entertain the idea of seeing them again.

Admittedly I haven't read the books or seen the movies, however I have read synopses and it's fucking terrible.

The part where Edward tears Bella's uterus open with his teeth to perform a cesarean should be great on the big screen.

I understand why women like it. It has classic motifs of what women are attracted to (THAT SEXY FORBIDDEN VAMPIRE BOY). It's romance.
