I have a terrible default mouse and I'm looking for a new one.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the Razer Naga was compatible with P99.

Yep, the keys are compatible with any game, they take the place of the number row or number pad

I use the Logitech G9x.
It's amazing. Not a bunch of bullshit buttons. Just enough to use. Excellent response and very fine resolution. 2 covers. Adjustable weight. Cloth cord. Freespin / click by click wheel.

I use a Logitech G500, it's served me well.

I use a Naga for all of my gaming, and I find a use for each key on every game. Only other mouse I use is my Deathadder for laptops.

Just as an example, I have my mouse assigned to all my weapons and offhands in GA, weapons and spy disguises in TF2, buildings in SC2, spells in EQ/WoW/LotRo, and almost all of my controls on BFBC2 are via mouse except movement

any regular logitech G5 or better will be a great investment. I use nothing else.

My vote is for DeathAdder. Closest mouse I've found to original MS Intellimouse design.

All those are excellent meeses. If you want something quality that wont break the bank:

Can usually find them for ~ $35. Logitech MX518.

I love Logitech but I'm sorry, their mice are bad.

If you want a no-frills mouse, go Copperhead or Deathadder.

If you want a mouse that will completely change the way you play games for the better, get a Naga.

I love Intel but i'm sorry, their chips are bad.

I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to make, considering that Logitech makes many quality products that aren't mice.

Being sarcastic. Logitech makes great mice.

They're okay but they all just seem way too bulky and heavy for me. I see no point in buying Logitech when Razer are better products. The only thing I can say is that Logitech mice generally last forever whereas a Razer mouse is going to start having problems after a couple years or so. But Razer mice in my experience are much lighter, form-fitting, and responsive, as well as having more features.

I just bought one of these and I am 110% pleased with it. One thing Im not pleased with is how shitty Skyrim's new UI is and how I thought my mouse was broke because of it. It's not though, its an awesome mouse and works well with P99 if you want a sick mouse for a game that doesn't need one.

BUY THIS MOUSE!!

lawl @ that.

The razer laser mice were completely inferior to their optical ones.

The 1800DPI 3g optical was great, only problem is, that that isn't enough DPI for 1080p unless you use some weird settings. The newer 3000+ dpi version of the sensor was awful though.

The avago 9500 laser sensor in the g9x, g500, and several other brands of mice is the best sensor out now, period. There's probably 20+ mice that have it, some of them have terrible software, some of them are shaped weird. You just have to find what works.

The phillips twin eye laser used in the Razer mice is awful, don't bother with that. I would tell you what mouse I use after buying a zillion of them, but I would rather everyone be easier to kill on PvP. It does use the Avago 9500 though.
